Requiem of Reuinis Route Calculator

Route calculator tool for Requiem of Reuinis — simulate exploration paths, estimate day costs, and optimize routing through thirty demo maps and six bosses.

What the Route Calculator does

The Route Calculator simulates exploration paths through Requiem of Reuinis demo maps before you commit in-game. Input your starting position, waypoint sequence across floors, current research tier, and combat preferences to receive an estimated total day cost including movement, combat, and key bypass savings. Magic Tower routing is the game's core skill — miscalculating a path by twenty days costs an entire retreat cycle of camp time.

The calculator draws from the same map data documented in walkthroughs and the interactive map. All thirty demo floors across the Cave Entrance, Forgotten Ruins, and Deep Sanctum are supported with enemy positions, chest locations, key doors, and material nodes available as selectable waypoints. Results update dynamically as you add or remove waypoints from your planned route.

Getting started

Open the Route Calculator and select your current region — Cave Entrance, Forgotten Ruins, or Deep Sanctum. Set your starting floor based on where your exploration push begins. If resuming mid-region after a partial clear, select the furthest floor reached rather than the region entry point. Input your ATK and DEF research tiers from the research tree — these values determine combat day estimates against enemies on your path.

Select your combat mode: fight all, skip all (using keys where available), or custom per-enemy. Custom mode lets you mark specific encounters like the Stone Golem as fight or bypass individually. Equip status affects state-based clearing estimates — select Dream Anchor equipped if simulating Deep Sanctum routes with Dream State turret clearing enabled.

  • Step 1: Select region and starting floor
  • Step 2: Input ATK/DEF research tiers
  • Step 3: Set combat mode (fight, skip, or custom)
  • Step 4: Add waypoints in visit order
  • Step 5: Review total day estimate and breakdown

Adding waypoints

Waypoints represent stops on your route — chest pickups, material nodes, key locations, boss arenas, and floor transitions. Add waypoints in the order you plan to visit them; the calculator computes walking distance between consecutive waypoints using map tile data. Drag waypoints to reorder and watch the day estimate update instantly.

Priority waypoints for common routes: Cave Entrance path includes Rusty Key, Herb Bundle, and Guardian of the Threshold boss. Forgotten Ruins path includes Research Notes, Alchemy Catalyst, Iron Key door, and both boss arenas. Deep Sanctum path includes Golden Triumph Shard, Calamity Fragment, Sanctum Key, and the three-boss chain. The Walkthrough Hub documents recommended waypoint sequences for each region if you are unsure where to start.

Understanding day cost breakdown

The calculator separates total day cost into movement days, combat days, and savings from key bypasses or state clearing. Movement days equal tile steps between waypoints — the largest component on well-routed paths. Combat days estimate turns required per enemy based on your ATK tier versus enemy DEF, converted to day equivalents. Key bypass savings subtract days you avoid by using Rusty Key, Iron Key, or Sanctum Key on correct doors.

State clearing savings apply when Dream Anchor is equipped — adjacent enemies cleared without movement reduce effective combat days on Deep Sanctum floors. Compare your calculator breakdown against actual run results after each retreat. Persistent gaps between estimated and actual combat days indicate research tier input errors or unplanned detours worth investigating.

Advanced usage and iteration

Compare alternate routes by duplicating your waypoint list and modifying one detour — for example, test whether the Golden Triumph Shard detour saves net days once state clearing savings apply on subsequent floors. Save benchmark routes for each region: twelve to fifteen days for Cave Entrance, twenty-two to twenty-eight for Forgotten Ruins, eighteen to twenty for Deep Sanctum.

Pair calculator results with the Day Planner to schedule camp days before and after exploration pushes, and the Build Planner to verify your equipped loadout meets combat estimates. The Route Planning Guide explains Magic Tower principles that inform waypoint selection, and the Interactive Map provides visual confirmation of tile paths between waypoints. Iterative calculator use between runs is how experienced players compress total demo completion from two hundred plus days toward the one hundred twenty to one hundred sixty day benchmark.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate is the Route Calculator?

Estimates are within 2–3 days of actual runs when research tiers and combat mode are input correctly.

Does it account for Dream State clearing?

Yes. Enable Dream Anchor equipped status to apply state clearing savings on Deep Sanctum routes.

Can I plan multi-region routes?

Plan each region separately. Camp retreats between regions reset starting positions.

What if my day count exceeds the estimate?

Review combat mode settings and research tier inputs. Unplanned fights and wrong key usage are common causes.

Where do waypoint locations come from?

Map data from walkthroughs and the Interactive Map covering all thirty demo floors.
